Web Design & Hosting packages

• Prices quoted assume that all relevant pictures, logos, text and any other information are provided in a suitable electronic format. A charge may be made for any photo manipulation or enhancement. A charge may also be made for OCR scanning of text.
• A charge may also be made for pictures provided as hard copies that need to be scanned and manipulated or require re-touching.
• Any additional pop-up pages will be quoted for separately.
• cPanel access on the Hosting deals (where applicable), is included on an as-is basis. HFDesign will setup the hosting package with email, anti-spam, FTP access etc., but is not responsible for any problems or errors that occur as a result of clients changing settings or installing additional packages that are included. Generally speaking, unless you know what you are doing, do not change anything. Fees may be charged to rectify any problems.
• If you have an existing Domain Name, please change the Nameserver settings on that domain to NS1.HFDESIGN.NET and NS2.HFDESIGN.NET respectively.
• HFDesign will provide full support during UK office hours (9.00 - 5.30pm) for the duration of the Hosting term.
• HFDesign reserves the right to terminate any Hosting package without prior warning if the website or website content is deemed to be obscene or contain inappropriate material. Any fees paid are not refundable.
• HFDesign reserves the right to terminate any Hosting package without prior warning if it is suspected the website is being used for sending or receiving mass communications or spam emails. Any fees paid are not refundable.
• Fair Use Bandwidth conditions apply.
• The free hosting deal applies to websites designed and built exclusively by HFDesign and may not apply to files and documents provided by other designers in part or in whole.
  
  Payment
• Payment is required in 3 equal amounts. Once a quote value has been accepted, the 1st payment becomes due at the start of the project. the 2nd payment is due once the design is agreed and the final payment is due on completion and upload.
• If the final payment exceeds a 60 day period, your website may be suspended until payment is made. There is a £35 + VAT reconnection fee payable in advance to re-instate the website. It is also possible any future development of the website may require payment in advance. If after 90 days, payment has still not been made, attempts will be made to recover the outstanding debt through legal channels.
  
  CMS & its limitations
• The inclusion of free CMS means you can edit pictures and text. In order to maintain the web site design and integrity, it will be useful to have access to photo manipulation software as the pictures you upload will need to conform to the design to maintain its smart appeal.
• Each web design package offered by HFDesign for Options 1, 2, 3 & 4 include 2, 5, 10 and 25 editable picture and text input areas respectively. So Option 3 for example includes 15 pages with 10 editable pictures and 10 editable text areas over whichever pages best suits your needs.
• Most people expect that a CMS system to be trouble free. What needs to be considered is how replacing pictures for example affects the look of your site. If you replace a portrait (upright) image with a landscape (rectangle) image this can seriously disturb the balance of the page. And certainly the more this happens, the worse the site looks.
